🇩🇪 Munich Must-Visit List、

📍: Great for tourists 🚶‍♀️: Perfect if you live in Munich and are bored ⭕️: I haven’t been yet but it looks interesting Around Marienplatz: 📍 New Town Hall (Neues Rathaus) – Taking the escalator up from the subway, the first glimpse is absolutely breathtaking 😭 📍 Munich Residenz – €10 (€9 for students), incredibly luxurious and dazzling ✨ 📍 Heiliggeistkirche (Church of the Holy Spirit) 📍 Asamkirche (Asam Church) 📍 HARIBO – Who doesn’t love gummy bears! 🧸 🚶‍♀️ Valentin-Karlstadt-Musäum – Went on Museum Day. The ground floor is about a comedian, upstairs is about father and son. Descriptions are in German, so couldn’t understand everything 😅 🍺 Hofbräuhaus HB – The most iconic beer brand in Munich! 🍻 🍖 Haxengrill – €26, their spare ribs are seriously delicious! 🤤 🍖 Augustiner Bräustuben – €18, pretty good pork knuckle. Traditional German restaurant with great beer atmosphere. Locals even step on the benches when entering/exiting – a German told me it’s a custom here 😲 🛍️ Nica‘s Cosmos – Tons of JellyCat here! I pre-ordered my Westie bag here 🐶💖 Near TUM Main Campus: 📍 Alte Pinakothek – Only €1 on Sundays! Features Van Gogh’s Sunflowers and more 🌻 ⭕️ Pinakothek der Moderne (Modern Art Museum) 📍 NS-Dokumentationszentrum (Documentation Center for the History of National Socialism) – The most fascinating part is a display mapping historical uses of buildings (e.g., SS headquarters). Next to it, a window overlooks Karolinenplatz, making you feel immersed in history. Truly brilliant! 🗺️ 🍨 Ballabeni – They let you try an extra flavor for free. The rose flavor they gave me was even better than the chocolate I ordered 🥹 🍜 Mamma Bao – Their beef biangbiang noodles are amazing! Tender beef, slightly sweet sauce. Noodles can be a bit soft if you go right at opening, but it gets crowded later 🍜 🍨 Eiscafé Italia – Highly recommended by my buddy! Love the brownie flavor. Cash only 💵 🥞 Weinbauer – Tried their Kaiserschmarrn (King’s pancake) – huge portion and delicious! The apple sauce is tangy and cuts the richness. Their schnitzel is also crispy and tasty. Note: The pancake takes a while to arrive, and service can be slow 🥞 🍰 Konditorei-Cafe Markus – Black Forest cake: chocolate mousse is okay, but the cherry filling is great. Their opening hours are unpredictable – I failed twice before finally trying it 🍒 P.S. Why am I posting this now? Because I’ve been meaning to for ages but… procrastination 😅 #MunichTravel #MunichFood #ExploreMunich
