🇩🇪 Munich One-Day Itinerary | City Walk Guide
Munich’s old town is very compact, with most attractions centered around Marienplatz and easily reachable on foot 🚶♀️. My favorite spot? Climbing St. Peter’s Church tower for a breathtaking view over the old town’s charming red-roofed skyline! ❤️🏙️ 🏨 Hotel Recommendation: Königshof, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Munich Amazing location near Karlsplatz — just 10 mins walk to Marienplatz. Their breakfast is a must-try — the best I had throughout my Germany trip! 🍳☕ The window seats overlook the Justizpalast, and the terrace offers panoramic views of Karlsplatz 🌟. 🗺️ Route & Attractions: 📍 Marienplatz The heart of the old town and the starting point for sightseeing. 🕰️ Neues Rathaus (New Town Hall) Catch the glockenspiel puppet show at 11:00 or 12:00 🎪. 🌇 St. Peter’s Church (Peterskirche) Climb the tower for a stunning view over the red-roofed old town — highly recommended! 📸 🥨 Viktualienmarkt A lively open-air market with local snacks, drinks, and live street music 🎶— super relaxing vibe! ⛪ Asamkirche A small Baroque church with elaborate golden decorations. Pretty inside but often crowded — worth a quick look if passing by. 🏛️ Munich Residenz Short on time? Take the quick route and see the magnificent Renaissance-style Antiquarium Hall — the most impressive room in the palace 👑. 🍻 Hofbräuhaus Went at dinner time — packed with locals and tourists! Tried the classic pork knuckle + giant beer combo 🍺🍖. The beer is seriously huge! #MunichMustSee #MunichCityWalk #TravelGermany #EuropeanCityWalkDiary 🌍✈️
