🇩🇪 Nuremberg | This Persian Restaurant is a Must-Try!
In the southern part of Nuremberg, there are so many delicious places to eat. I’ve been exploring the area quite a bit lately, and almost every restaurant I’ve tried has been amazing. This Iranian-Persian restaurant was recommended by a friend, and I tried a few of their classic dishes. Here are three things that really stood out: 🌸 1. The Plum Sauce in the Middle! It’s absolutely delicious! Since I love sour flavors, this plum sauce is perfect for me. It’s tangy with just a hint of sweetness. It goes so well with rice and is amazing when spread on bread. It’s so good that I even asked the restaurant for a small container of it to take home after my meal. 🍖 🌸 2. The Spicy Cheese Balls! These are incredible! The chili sauce that comes with them is the spiciest I’ve ever tasted in Germany. It starts off a bit like the Vietnamese chili sauce you might find in the supermarket, but the aftertaste is much stronger and more authentic. It’s not chemically spicy; it has a real, vegetable-like heat. I was really surprised by how spicy it was— HOT HOT HOT HOT 🥵 But it’s also very fragrant and crispy. 🌸 3. The Yogurt Soda! It’s super tangy! There’s no sugar added, but it’s surprisingly refreshing. It’s a bit like lemon soda but with a yogurt flavor. I found out that this brand is actually the national drink of Iran, similar to our Bingdu in China. It’s fizzy and great for cutting through the richness of the food. 🥤 In addition to these, the snacks were also great, and the lamb was very flavorful. My boyfriend thought it had a bit of a gamey taste, but I thought it was just right. The crispy layer on top of the rice was also delicious. Overall, even though I hadn’t tried Persian food before, I’ve had similar Arabic dishes, and this experience was quite enjoyable. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked all the different sauces and flavors. 🏠 shekamu 💰 Cost: If you order one dish per person, skip dessert, and just get a drink, the average cost is around 20 to 25 euros. This is pretty standard for restaurants in Nuremberg. #HiddenGemRestaurant #RestaurantRecommendation #Delicious #Germany #GermanFood #PersianCuisine #Nuremberg #IranianFood
