🇩🇪 What to Eat in Germany? 🍽️ Your Ultimate Food Guide is Here!

After 10 delicious days in Germany, I’ve compiled my top food recommendations across Berlin, Frankfurt, and Munich. Save this for your trip! 📍 🍽️ BERLIN 1️⃣ Annelies The BEST pancakes I’ve ever had! 🥞 Crispy outside, fluffy inside – served with maple syrup, blueberry jam, butter, and cream cheese. Super Instagrammable! ⚠️ Long waits (~30 mins) 2️⃣ Curry 61 Classic currywurst 🌭 – the red sausage + special sauce combo is amazing! Highly recommend. 3️⃣ Sarajevo Berlin Cozy spot – try the grilled beef sausage wrap (only €10!). ✨ Their milk cake is INCREDIBLE 😋 4️⃣ Rüyam Gemüse Kebab Popular doner spot – waited 40 mins at 4 PM! 🥙 Huge portion with fried potatoes, grilled meat, veggies, and cheese. 5️⃣ ZIMTSCHNECKE Good cinnamon rolls 🧁 (but not as good as London’s!) 🍜 FRANKFURT 1️⃣ Soi22 Authentic Thai boat noodles 🍜 – spicy and flavorful! The hot broth makes the beef super tender. 2️⃣ Aroydee Traditional Thai – loved the curry soup and mango sticky rice 🥭 💰 ~€20 per person 3️⃣ Hoppenworth & Ploch Instagram-famous bakery 🥐 – great pastries and beautiful vibes! Still lots of options after 2 PM. 🥨 MUNICH 1️⃣ Augustiner-Keller My pick for pork knuckle 🐷 – crispy skin, tender meat, not too greasy! Served with sauerkraut and unique dumplings. 🍻 Try the Colaweizen (cola + beer) – surprisingly delicious! 2️⃣ Max Noodles Hand-pulled beef noodles 🍜 – long lines but worth it! They serve free tea and snacks while you wait. The chili oil is fragrant and authentic. 3️⃣ Mamma Bao Skip the “Three-in-One” noodles (too salty). The big chicken plate noodles are better though. 📵 Bad Wi-Fi + overhyped 4️⃣ Twenty Pho Solid Vietnamese – prefer the dry noodles over soup (lighter and fresher!). Lunch specials are cheaper. 5️⃣ Up Coffee Google 5.0-rated café ☕ – pistachio croissant is unique (more like a soft Japanese-style pastry). Next to Mamma Bao. #FoodGuide #GermanyEats #BerlinFood #MunichFood #FrankfurtFood #TravelGermany
