🇩🇰 Copenhagen | Checking in at a Danish Classic Restaurant (Highly R

📍 Restaurant Schønnemann ‼️ Reservations are required, you can email to make a reservation on Google Maps. 💰 Average cost per person: 200+ DKK 🧾 Order reference: 1️⃣ today’s Herring Plate 💰235 DKK Chinese name: Today's Herring Platter. The description says: "enough for 2 persons - 3 different kinds of herrings, the chef’s choice with garnish," which is perfect for those who have trouble deciding what to order. Indeed, it was enough for two people, and the three flavors we had that day were all very good (cream/curry/beetroot), with a refreshingly tangy taste, and the accompaniments and bread went well with it. I personally feel that herring is popular in the countries around the Baltic Sea. The "infamous" herring cans come from Sweden, just across the sea from Denmark. Although I haven't tried the herring cans, this herring platter is really good. 2️⃣ Boiled Salted Duck Breast 💰160 DKK Chinese name: Boiled Salted Duck Breast. Five slices of duck breast topped with a mixture of cream and horseradish, pickled lingonberries, and some small green leafy vegetables. There was no duck gamey smell at all, and this combination was very refreshing and light, giving a feeling of being incredibly healthy (not that I am 😄). Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant! My friends loved it too! If you want to have a traditional Danish meal in Copenhagen, this is the place to go 👍 #Europe #EuropeanTravel #Denmark #DenmarkVisa #DanishFood #Copenhagen #CopenhagenTravel #CopenhagenFood #CopenhagenExploration #Nordic
