đŸ‡Ș🇩 One day tour to Zaragoza, Spain

🏰 Zaragoza: Spain’s 5th City—A Gem That Keeps Wowing This was my second trip to Zaragoza, and it still stole my heart. Familiar streets, that warm, golden sunlight
this city balances historic weight with modern energy like no other. Diving deeper this time? Totally worth it—those ancient spots made so much more sense. â›Ș Zaragoza Cathedral: A Stylistic Firework (Not Your Average Church) Forget “plain and proper”—this cathedral is a chaos of beauty. It blends Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque styles, like a history book come to life. One corner has sturdy 12th-century Romanesque walls (humble beginnings as a small church), the next soars with Gothic spires, while Renaissance arches and gilded Baroque details pop up everywhere. It’s a mishmash that somehow works—loud, proud, and totally unforgettable. Pro move: Climb to the top (€6, 15 minutes). The view? Stunning. Zaragoza unfolds below—rooftops, plazas, and that iconic Spanish sky. Worth every step. 👑 Royal Palace: The One That Got Away (But You Can Nab It) We missed the Royal Palace—closed at 6 PM, and we arrived too late. Bummer, but lesson learned: Go early! Tickets are €7, and it’s right in the mix of historic spots. Add it to your list—next time, I’m there at opening. 🚄 Getting There: Easy Peasy from Madrid 10:30 AM train from Madrid → 1:20 PM in Zaragoza. Hop on bus Ci3 (25 minutes) → straight to Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar (another must-see, right near the cathedral). Zaragoza isn’t just “Spain’s 5th city”—it’s a sleeper hit. Historic, lively, and full of surprises, it’s the kind of place you’ll want to revisit. I already am. #Zaragoza #SpainTravel #HiddenGems
