Here’s how it went: 🏰 Morning: Citadel of Qaitbay Departure: 8:30 AM from our Giza hotel. Tickets: 150 EGP (adult), 75 EGP (student). Verdict: Photography heaven! Allocate extra time—every corner is Instagram-worthy. 🌊 Coastal Walk to the Library The seaside promenade near the Bibliotheca Alexandrina is perfect for city walks. Locals waved and smiled from afar—many even shyly asked for photos with us Asians (a common request at pyramids too!). Imagine our travel snaps living in strangers’ phones worldwide—what a fun thought! 🏛️ Afternoon: Montaza Palace ("Summer Palace") Tickets: 25 EGP (no student discount) + 50 EGP parking. Vibe: Felt like a European palace—instant teleportation to the Mediterranean Riviera! ✈️ Evening: Cairo Airport Left Alexandria at 3:30 PM, detoured to buy a hookah (priorities!), and reached the airport by 8 PM for our 10 PM flight to Luxor.
