DC | Delightful Brunch Spots in Alexandria
There are quite a few brunch options in DC, but I’ve hit some duds more than a few times. I could compile a whole collection! But this place is genuinely good, so I’m writing a recommendation. 🍴 CORNFLAKE CRUSTED FRENCH TOAST This is my favorite! Unlike other French toasts, they coat the toast with a layer of cornflake crust that’s super crispy! The bread is soft and chewy - I just love it. (Note: it does contain a bit of cinnamon, so if you’re not a fan, you might want to skip this one.)🌟 🍴 GREEK YOGURT BOWL I’m also a big fan of this. It’s a thick Greek yogurt served with sweet fruit and crunchy granola, drizzled with honey - so delicious! (Their blueberries are so sweet!)🌟 🍴 SCOTCH EGGS I got to try Scotch eggs! Yay. The runny yolk is fantastic - tasty and enjoyable!🌟 🍴 FILET STEAK & EGGS I find the steak to be just okay, but it’s a breakfast place, so I’ll let it slide. Personally, I probably wouldn’t order this. (But it does look good.)🌟 🍴 BISCUITS & GRAVY This is another American breakfast dish I wouldn’t typically order, but it’s decent. If you like chicken biscuits, you’ll probably enjoy this.🌟 It’s really crowded on weekends, so make sure to make a reservation! You can book in advance through Opentable or by phone one to two days before. If you walk in on the weekend, expect to wait about 30 minutes to an hour.🌟 #DC #brunch #VA #DMVFoodExploration #DMVMustEats #HiddenGem #DMVWhatToEat #BreakfastRecommendations #NorthAmerica
