🇪🇸 Alicante in a Flash 🌊 | Transport & Attractions Guide

Another spontaneous Ryanair trip—this time to Alicante for 3 days & 2 nights! ✈️ This city may not be as big as Barcelona, but it’s clean, uncrowded, and perfect for a short chill getaway. 🏖️ 🚌 Day 1: Arrival & Beach Vibes Airport → City: Take Bus C6 (€6.50 + €2 card fee if bought from the driver—way cheaper than the machine’s €12.50!). Get off at Puerta del Mar—right by the beach (p2) and food spots. Transport Tip: If staying outside downtown, buy a 10-ride ticket (€8.50 at Tabacos shops). But if your hotel’s central, just walk—everything’s super close! Hotel: Ours was a 4-star near the beach with a sauna 🧖‍♀️, between Alicante & Benidorm (both accessible by bus, €1.45/ride). Evening: Dinner + seaside stroll 🌊 → hotel. 🏰 Day 2: Castle & Blue Houses Santa Bárbara Castle: Walk up through Santa Cruz neighborhood (💙 Casa Barrio Santa Cruz—so photogenic but crowded!). The castle views are INSANE—every pic looks like a postcard! 📸 (2hrs total, including photo ops.) Seafront Promenade: Paseo de la Explanada de España (watch out for "photo scam" hustlers—just ignore them!). Mushroom Street (El Carrer dels Bolets): Cute but skippable. 🍄 Dinner: Nearby → back to hotel. ⛈️ Day 3: Rainy Beach Day Planned Benidorm, but morning rain ruined it. ☔ Instead, walked along the local beach (same coastline, so… close enough? 😅). Afternoon sun = magic. 🌞 Alicante’s doable in half a day—should’ve split time with Benidorm! But hey, imperfect trips make the best stories. ⚠️ Pro Tips Buses are unreliable (Google lies!). Scan the QR code at stops for real-time schedules. Stay central to avoid transport hassles. #NoFilter #TravelDiaries #SeasideEscape #Spain #Alicante #CastleVibes #StudyAbroadLife #SpontaneousTrip #Wanderlust #BeachBum
