🇪🇸 3 Days & 2 Nights in Alicante - Full Travel Guide

Alicante is a beautiful and convenient small city where attractions are so close that you might accidentally wander into another sightseeing spot without even checking the map! We arrived by Ouigo train 🚄 and stayed at Estudio Hotel, the tallest building in Alicante (30 floors!). It’s just a 7-minute walk from the train station, but we got assigned a room on the 1st floor 😅. Day 1 Port Area: Compared to other cities, the port is pretty standard. Postiguet Beach : Bring a mat, lie on the sand, and relax with the sea breeze—pure bliss! Explanada de España: A lovely seaside promenade. City Hall: A charming, historic building. Setas Street : A small street decorated with mushroom-shaped art. Day 2 Mercado Central (Central Market): Fresh fruits 🥭, fish 🐟, meat 🥩, and snacks. We had a fruit feast—ate over half a kilo! Ereta Park: Passed by this park on the way to the castle. Super sunny that day! ☀️ Santa Bárbara Castle : You can hike or take an elevator up. The panoramic city view from the top is stunning! Santa Cruz: A neighborhood full of colorful blue houses—great for photos! 📸 Centro de Interpretación sobre los Refugios Antiaéreos: A local friend recommended this anti-air raid shelter museum. A guide explained how these underground structures saved lives during the Spanish Civil War bombings. Super interesting! (~2h tour, €4.70 entry). Day 3 Since there wasn’t much left to explore, we spent a few hours chilling at the beach 🏖️ and visited free museums: MUBAG (Bellas Artes Gravina): Displays Alicante’s artistic treasures from the Middle Ages to the 20th century. MACA (Arte Contemporáneo): Features 20th-century art. There’s even a DIY section—we made a little pig 🐷 and left it at the museum as a souvenir! #Spain #Alicante #MustVisit #TravelGuide #WorkingHoliday ✈️🌍
