Step inside, and the decor catches your eye—unique, modern, and inviting. The chef even comes out to chat, offering personalized recommendations—always a nice touch. 🩑 The Stars of the Menu: Octopus That Won Over a Skeptic I’m not usually an octopus fan, but Lume changed my mind. Their pulpo dishes are stunning—tender, flavorful, and paired with sauces that elevate every bite. Antxoas de Santoña sobre lĂĄmina crujiente de pan: Santoña anchovies on crispy bread—salty, briny, and perfectly balanced. Pata de pulpo en panko sobre crema de pulpo: Panko-crusted octopus leg over a creamy octopus purĂ©e—crunchy, rich, and utterly addictive. Mini txipis fritos con su tinta: Tiny fried squid with squid ink—crispy, savory, and a fun, messy treat. ChuletĂłn: Forgot which cut I ordered, but no matter—it was fantastic. A great option for steak lovers in the city center. Sides: Crispy fries, green peppers, and a simple lettuce-and-onion salad—fresh, straightforward, and perfect for rounding out the meal. 🍰 Desserts: Sweet, Sweet Overload (With One Exception) Foreign desserts tend to err on the side of “too sweet,” and Lume is no different—though there’s a standout: Tarta de queso cremosa al horno con dulce de leche: Creamy baked cheesecake with dulce de leche. Rich, but surprisingly the least sweet of the trio—definitely the pick. Torrija de pan de leche caramelizada con helado: Caramelized milk bread torrija with ice cream—sweet, buttery, and indulgent. Brownie de chocolate con chocolate caliente: Warm chocolate brownie with hot chocolate—decadent, but very sweet. 🌟 Why It’s Worth a Visit Lume nails the balance of creativity and flavor.
