🇪🇸 Dining Alone in Madrid Ep.1: This Place is Amazing!

I'm on a business trip in Madrid these days, and since I'm by myself, I've been exploring restaurants near my accommodation on the map (looking for ones with lots of reviews and a rating of 4.5+). Today's spot is La Mi Venta. The map said the average cost is 30-50💶. I decided to treat myself a bit (I've had some 😤 moments), and the pictures in the reviews looked super tempting, so I just walked in. First off, I'd recommend making a reservation because you can sit outside, enjoying the evening breeze and sunshine. The indoor area is a bit dim (I personally prefer the outdoor vibe). Plus, every table has a 🐎 that you can scan to see the menu with pictures of each dish! Sometimes, even if you understand every word on the menu, the food can still feel like a mystery box when it arrives. Haha, it's like opening a blind box! 🎁 I ordered a glass of white wine, a steak, a dessert, and some bread with olive oil. Let me tell you, it was so worth it! 😌 The steak was incredible—the fat was cooked to absolute perfection, so aromatic! The dessert was an apple and cinnamon tart with apples and raisins inside. It was delicious, though the tart was a bit sour, which is quite different from what I'm used to back home. The white wine was perfect—slowly making me feel tipsy in the most gentle and comfortable way. That's it! The place is near the Royal Palace of Madrid. #food #Spain #SpanishTravel #Madrid #MadridFood #MadridEats #SoloEater #Steak #WhiteWine #Dessert #MadridDessert #RoyalPalaceMadrid #SpanishCuisine #SpanishLife #SpanishFood #SpanishRestaurant #MadridRestaurant #SpanishWine
