🇪🇸 Pamplona, Spain – A Compact City with Charm

Just got back from a 4-day work trip to Pamplona—a small but lovely Spanish city. Here are my quick thoughts: Small & Walkable – All major sights are within walking distance. Known for the San Fermín Festival (Running of the Bulls), but in winter, it’s pretty quiet. July? Packed with tourists! 🐂🎉 Old-World Vibes – Cobblestone streets & historic buildings reminded me a bit of my hometown, Suzhou, China. Too bad I only saw it at night—wish I had daylight to explore properly. 🌙 Vintage Shops Galore – Spotted lots of cool thrift stores, but since I’m no antique expert… I left empty-handed. 🛍️😅 Food = Cheap & Delicious – But beware: no English menus! A local colleague recommended GAUCHO—super crowded but worth it! 🍖🔥 Transport Quirks – No Uber/Bolt here, so taxis are a hassle. The train station? Tiny & no security checks—just walk in! 🚖🚆 6️⃣ Hotel Review (Hotel Tres Reyes) – Great location (1 street away from the old town), but thin walls and no free water/toiletries?! Breakfast was decent, though. 🏨🤷 Only scratched the surface of Pamplona, but hey—hope I get another work trip to Europe soon! 😆 #Spain #Pamplona #EuropeTravel #TravelSpain #Wanderlust
