🇪🇸 Spanish Restaurant in Cologne – Meson El Cordobes

On our way back from the Netherlands, we made a stop in Cologne 🚗💨. We originally wanted to visit Tapeo & Co. (been on my list forever!), but it was closed on Sunday 😔… so we chose this place instead! First off — big praise for the super friendly service here! Compared to the often cold waitstaff in traditional German restaurants, the vibe here is so much more open and welcoming 🤗💫. I’ve always loved tapas — those little portions let you try a bit of everything! 🥘 The food was decent — not mind-blowing Spanish cuisine, but definitely not disappointing either. A solid choice 👍. Though I have to say… the bread they served was pretty bad 😬 — cold, dry, and tasted like it had been sitting out for a while. Recommended Dishes: Fried Squid 🦑 Spanish Chorizo 🌶️ Iberico Ham 🐖 Bacon-Wrapped Dates 🥓 Sardines 🐟 A pleasant stop with a warm atmosphere — would I go again?
