Exploring the Peruvian Restaurant El Inca in Cologne 🍴
I finally got the chance to try this South American-style restaurant I had been wanting to visit since I moved to Cologne! The restaurant isn't easily visible from the street; you have to go downstairs to find it. Inside, the decor features a variety of South American trinkets. Although it's a Peruvian restaurant, it showcases the characteristics of various South American countries, giving it a vibe reminiscent of local indigenous tribes. We ordered two main dishes and an appetizer. The appetizer was a South American specialty: fried bananas (Plátanos fritos), which were sweet, tangy, and crispy. 🍌 As for the main dishes, we definitely had to include meat! Both were beef dishes. One seemed to be stir-fried and didn’t have a particularly strong flavor, while the other was grilled and had a deeper flavor with a lovely smoky taste—definitely the recommended choice! 🔥 Summary: I would visit again; it’s quite suitable for my taste! The prices are reasonable, on par with standard dining in Germany. I’ve heard their fish and seafood dishes are also worth trying, making it a great option for friends in Cologne looking for something beyond Asian cuisine. #CologneFood #CologneStoreExploration #Cologne
