🇪🇺 Europe Independent Travel Guide | Heidelberg 🚄
Travelling from Munich to Heidelberg by train takes about 3 hours—but in reality, it took me 5 hours. 🫠 The overhead railway lines broke (once again…), and as everyone knows, Deutsche Bahn (DB) always has its special moments. 🚆😅 🏯 Attractions: Heidelberg Castle, Philosophers‘ Walk, Old Bridge Heidelberg is actually quite small—maybe the size of a district in a Chinese city. There’s no need to rush through the sights like a special forces tour 😂—just relax, soak up the sun ☀️, enjoy some German sausages 🥨, sauerkraut, and of course, a nice German beer! 🍻 🏨 Accommodation: Hotel Goldener Hecht — around RMB 800+ per night. The room was pretty small 🛌, but the location right next to the Old Bridge can’t be beat. It’s… acceptable. 🍺 Food: The square and shopping street near the Old Bridge are filled with restaurants offering all kinds of cuisine 🍴. You can also check out a local supermarket—they have a great selection of drinks! 🥤🍷 #Heidelberg #Travel #GermanyTravel #EuroTrip #HeidelbergOldTown #TravelTips
