🇫🇮 Visiting the Popular Glass House Kappeli Restaurant in Helsinki

With a history dating back to 1867, Kappeli is a well-established restaurant located in the heart of the city. It's just a 10-minute walk from the city hall, the harbor, and the Stockmann shopping center. Nestled in a central park area, you can't miss the beautiful glass house that is Kappeli. 🌳💚 On my first night, I visited this restaurant. Initially, I was worried that as an internet-famous spot, it might be a letdown. However, the food proved to be really good. If you plan to have dinner here, it's recommended to make a reservation in advance to avoid a long wait. 📅💡 I highly recommend the salmon seafood soup, which is rich in cream and has a fresh salmon flavor. The potatoes were also very tasty. This was the best salmon soup I had during my entire trip to Finland (personal taste, please don't judge if you disagree). 🥣🐟 As for the reindeer meat, I thought since I was in Finland, I should try something local. However, this dish turned out to be the biggest disappointment. I'm not sure if it was because I'm not used to the taste, but it was quite strange. It was served medium-rare, and the taste and texture were indescribable. My friend and I still can't pinpoint the flavor. 🦌🤔 💖The dessert was lovely, and after the reindeer meat, a dessert was definitely needed to cleanse the palate. It was tangy, sweet, and refreshing. 🍰🍓 Actually, Kappeli is also a great place for afternoon tea on a sunny day, I think it would make for some great photos. Upon entering, to the left, there's a selection of desserts and light meals, while the right side is mainly focused on the restaurant's main courses. 📸☕ If you have the time, it's definitely worth experiencing. 🕰️🌟 #InstagrammableRestaurant #AfternoonTea #Helsinki #FinlandTravel #MustVisitRestaurant
