🇫🇷 Antibes Travel Guide: The Only Honest Recs You’ll Need
Just spent 4 nights in Antibes—the "hidden gem" of the French Riviera (spoiler: not so hidden anymore). Used it as a base to visit Menton and Cagnes-sur-Mer, dodging overhyped spots. Some wins, some regrets. Here’s the real deal, typed on my train back to Paris. 🍽️ Euphorie 🌟🌟🌟 The showstopper. A tiny husband-and-wife operation—book ahead Only 3 mains daily (fish/veg/meat). We had: Jamón starter Seafood platter (🦐 so fresh they brought out the whole fish to pick) A dessert that changed me: peach + passionfruit + pistachio cream. Email them. Now. 🏨 Unique Boutique Hotel Antibes ⭐️⭐️⭐️ The reason I chose Antibes. Scored a glitch rate: normally €500-900/night, got 4 nights for €1,300! ✔️ Massive rooms ✔️ Breakfast à la carte (all hits, especially the fresh OJ—neighboring Europeans ordered seconds) ✔️ Surprisingly good Franco-Japanese dinner 📍 Note: It’s near Juan-les-Pins beach (10-min taxi from Antibes station). 🍽️ Le Bistrot ⚠️ Family-run spot near Juan-les-Pins station. Food? Delicious. Service?…Let’s just say the mom magically avoided our table (her son took our order while she chatted up white patrons). Maybe coincidence, maybe not. Proceed with caution. Final Thoughts: "Hidden gem" = only hidden from Asian social media. Antibes is packed with Americans/Europeans. Billionaires' Bay? Gorgeous but…let’s say we left early due to unwanted attention. The Med is stunning, but serenity lives where tourists don’t. Trust your gut over "underrated" labels. #FrenchRivieraUnfiltered #AntibesTruth #GlitchTravelHack #EatLikeALocal #WhiteGlareInFrance #MediterraneanMixedBag 🌊✨
