This restaurant was the most beautiful surprise of my trip to France.
Tucked away in a quiet valley just off the main street, it’s a hidden gem that quietly waits to be discovered among countless choices on the map—revealing itself only to the lucky ones. Run by a warm and gracious Italian couple, the place feels less like a restaurant and more like being welcomed into someone’s home.
It’s small, glowing with warmth, and filled with a quiet kind of magic that stays with you.
The food is exceptional. They serve a fresh “catch of the day” fish—simple, honest, and full of delicate flavor. My friend ordered the French pork loin, and it was unforgettable: perfectly tender, deeply fragrant, and beautifully spiced, especially with the jelly that brought everything together.
The wine pairing was thoughtful and just right, and the whole evening felt like time had slowed down—like the world outside had faded away.
This wasn’t just a meal. It was a memory, a feeling, a place I’ll always be grateful...
Read moreOh mon dieu, where to start!! I really want to do this wonderful little place the justice it deserves but might not have enough words! We stumbled across it hidden down a side street just up from the harbour in the old town. It looked very busy so we booked a table for a couple nights later. What a night! From start to finish it was a "Euphorique' experience. The young owners wanted to open a wine bar in Antibes (they are trained sommeliers), this was their dream......they soon realised that there was a demand for delicious food to go with the wonderful wine they research to serve. We both commented on how 'clean and fresh' our meal tasted. Absolutely DELICIOUS!! They are a lovely young couple who are putting their heart and soul into this amazing little gem of a restaurant. If you like touristy non authentic places to eat then do not go here!!! We are coming back next year for sure and cannot wait! All our best regards, Nic and Gary (the 'rind'...
Read moreIt is a charming little restaurant tucked away in a small street, just steps away from the big touristy restaurants. The menu though small, looked excellent and were delighted with generous and delicious portions.
I believe the menu changes regularly, we had foccacia, mortadella with truffle paste for starters, which was bang on what we wanted and no money could afford this in London, the olive oil that went with the starter was sublime and we couldn't get enough. For mains we had pork ribs which were slow cooked to perfection.
I wanted to try the sardine as well as it looked wonderful, but was simply too full for it. The bill was also really reasonable and the owners were hospitable, welcoming and took fantastic care of us.
I'd love to come back again and try that sardine...
