🇫🇷 Christmas in Strasbourg | The "Capital of Noel"
✨ When abroad for the holidays, I had to experience the world's most festive Christmas – so Strasbourg was my first stop! 🎄 🎅 Day 1: Strasbourg’s Last Market Day (Dec 24) TGV from Paris (2.5h) – arrived just in time! Main Markets (Place Kléber & Cathedral Square): Sipped vin chaud (like spiced berry tea!) while browsing wooden chalets. 6 PM closure – ended with carolers singing Christmas tales 🎤✨ 🏰 Day 2: Colmar’s Fairytale Christmas (Dec 25) Train (30min, ~€10) when everything in Strasbourg was closed. Highlights: Petite Venise – pastel houses + canals = living snow globe! Christmas markets (even more magical than Strasbourg’s!) Bonus: "Chinese Restaurant" filming spot for fans. 🌟 Travel Tips 🏡 Accommodation: Book near the train station (my 10-min-walk Airbnb had the sweetest host who made us breakfast for early trains!). 🚶 Transport: Walk everywhere in Strasbourg – it’s tiny and scenic! Colmar = Half-day trip (3h is enough). #Strasbourg #ChristmasMarkets #Colmar #BudgetTravel #FestiveEurope
