🇫🇷 Colmar | An Alsatian Restaurant Worth Revisiting!
Spent three days in Colmar and ended up dining at this local restaurant two nights in a row — everything on the menu is delicious! 😋 🍽️ Must-Try Dishes: 1️⃣ Fleischnakas: Like a savory meat roll soaked in rich broth — incredibly flavorful and comforting! 🍖 2️⃣ Fondant de Jambonneau: A unique pork knuckle glazed with honey and thyme — absolutely divine! 🍯 3️⃣ Picon Bière: A local Alsatian beer with a bitter-orange twist — even better with lemon syrup! 🍺 4️⃣ Tourte au Poulet et aux Pommes: Chicken and apple pie spiced with Christmas flavors — simple but magical! 🍎🐔 5️⃣ Choucroute du Chef: A classic Alsatian dish with generous portions of sauerkraut and meat — hearty and satisfying! 🥬 6️⃣ Café Gourmand: Coffee served with 5 homemade mini desserts — the perfect sweet ending! ☕🍰 We wanted to try the Black Forest cake, but it was sold out — a reason to return! 👨👩👧 Family-Friendly: The kids’ meal was both generous and tasty! The service was exceptional — when my daughter accidentally vomited right after entering, the staff helped without hesitation (while I scrambled to clean up). How could we not come back? ❤️ 📍Le Fer Rouge 📍 52 Grand Rue, 68000 Colmar #LifeInFrance #ColmarFood #AlsaceCuisine #FoodieHeaven
