Day 1๏ธโฃ: Paris โ Rennes โ Mont Saint-Michel ๐ 7:30 AM train from Paris โ Rennes ๐ Bus to Mont Saint-Michel (bought tickets on arrival, only 2 time slotsโwe took the ~12 PM one). ๐จ Hotel: Le Relais Saint Michel โ Stored luggage early, room had a view of the abbey! ๐ฐ ๐ Free shuttle to the island (~3 hrs to explore). ๐๏ธ Abbey ticket confusion: *"Under 26 free?" EU-only?* (We paid ๐ ). ๐ฝ๏ธ Dinner: Tried xhs-famous lamb & crรชpesโmeh ๐ฌ (opened at 6:45 PM). ๐ Back via shuttle (last one at 10 PM)โquiet, dark, but magical! Day 2๏ธโฃ: Mont Saint-Michel โ Saint-Malo ๐ Bus to Pontorson station (paid onboard) โ Train to Saint-Malo (via Dol-de-Bretagne). ๐ฆ Lunch: Seafood buffet (โฌ39.50/pax) โ Worth it! ๐ฐ Old Town highlights: Ramparts walk โ Breathtaking coastal views! ๐ Hidden hill climb โ Packed but scenic. ๐ฆ Sanchez Ice Cream โ Lychee flavor = surprise MVP! ๐ ๐ง Kouign-amann โ Buttery, sugary perfection (but shareโitโs rich!). ๐ 5:30 PM train back to Paris. โจ Pro Tips: Stay at Le Relais Saint Michel โ Abbey views + breakfast included!
