🇫🇷 Paris | Dining Like a Local
Tired of the usual online recommendations, I decided to find a French restaurant on my own. Surprisingly, I stumbled upon this absolutely delicious French bistro. On the night I visited, both the upstairs and downstairs were packed. After checking online, it seems no one has reviewed it yet. Of course, I had to share this hidden gem with everyone! 🐮 Appetizer Braised Oxtail with Spiced Caramel Tarte Tatin💰16€ This dish is incredibly delicious!!!! Highly recommended!!!! The best on the menu!!!! The tender beef sits on top of a caramel apple tart, and the overall flavor is sweet. Please, do yourself a favor and order this!!!!! 🦆 Main Course Homemade Confit Duck Leg💰24.50 The duck meat is incredibly tender, falling off the bone with just a gentle touch of the knife. The skin is perfectly crispy. The taste reminds me a bit of the salted duck we had during the New Year back home, but the roasted skin makes it even better than salted duck. 🍮 Chef’s Surprise Dessert💰12.5€ This dessert is up to the chef's discretion, but you can specify if you prefer chocolate, ice cream, or something else when you order. I chose ice cream. The dish features poached and chilled pear slices, topped with vanilla ice cream. The ice cream is surrounded by whipped cream and sprinkled with nuts. There's also a berry coulis, caramel sauce, and powdered sugar for decoration. The berry coulis adds a nice tangy flavor, and the dessert has a rich variety of textures. 🍷 Ambiance The restaurant has two floors and is not very large. The specific atmosphere can be seen in photos P6 and P7. The average cost per person is around 50€ (depending on your choices). The detailed menu and a Chinese translation by Chat GPT can be found in photos P8-P14. ♗ Le Coupe Gorge ❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️Reservations are a must! #ParisianFoodRecommendation #FrenchCuisineRecommendation #ParisTravel #ParisianEats #ConfitDuck #FrenchDining
