🇫🇷Delicious and Pretty Tapas in Paris
🌟 OTTO by Eric Trochon I’ve seen this place run by a Michelin chef so many times, and finally, I got to try their pretty little tapas with friends yesterday 🫡. Us meat lovers almost ordered every beef, fish, and lamb dish on the menu. We ate tapas until we were full🥰 (Unfortunately, we missed out on the much-desired beef head💔). 1. The beef was just okay, but the sauce and onion bits on top were amazing—tangy, crispy, and refreshing (a real treat for pickled vegetable fans). 2. Ris de veau: My first time trying fried veal thymus, and it was love at first bite! Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. I could eat a whole plate! 💛💛💛💛💛 3. Razor clams are a must for seafood lovers. Their couteaux were fresh, though I thought the portion was a bit small. The sauce tasted like the one used for snails—nothing special, but not bad either. 4. The lamb kebab was the only dish that fell a bit short. It wasn’t as tasty as the kebab from street vendors.🤣 5. The chicken teriyaki was pretty average. I feel like anyone with teriyaki sauce could make it at home. There weren’t any drinks on the menu that caught my eye, so I asked the waiter for a recommendation and ended up with a bottle of cidre. We arrived at 7:30 PM on a Monday and didn’t have to wait. There were still plenty of empty seats when we got in, but by the time we left, there was already a line outside. It’s a good place to go when you’re unsure what to eat, but I don’t think I’ll be back a second time. After all, we got to try everything we wanted in one visit!🤣 💰 If you don’t order drinks, the average cost per person is around €30+. #FrenchCuisine #BeautifulMeals #HiddenGemRestaurants #ParisianDelights
