I was a bit hesitant leaving this review, but it is such a shame I have to give this place 2 stars. We live around the corner and were very excited to try this place.

Came in on a Saturday night as a group four and planned to have a fun night, didn’t mind waiting for an hour while having a couple of drinks. What really put us off is the service. The person serving us was great at the beginning, suggested a great wine to us too. Then things went a bit sour when they brought a wrong plate (we ordered oysters and not razor clams) and instead of just taking it away, started arguing with us trying to prove us wrong. Okay, a but awkward, but never mind. Then it became more weird when the shared dish was served. We ordered a steak dish from a special menu, but were not given any steak knives. Had to ask for a knife that we could us to slice off meat of the bone..a bit strange for an upscale restaurant. What really threw us off and made me write this review is that when we were given the bill we found out the wrong dish (clams) was still included in the total bill. We found this extremely cheap and my friend could not help himself and asked the waiter if they had done this deliberately. The waiter got quite aggressive and started arguing that it was “madam’s mistake”. In the end they they walked away with a bill and took the clams off (9 or so euro out of nearly 400). This made us extremely uncomfortable and we just prompted to leave as soon as we could. I must note other staff members apart from that particular person were lovely and very...

Great food. Especially loved the fish no chips, piment padrone and the agneau kebab. Their menu was différent from the one from 9 months ago on maps. We could either choose 3 dishes for 19€( all entrée or all plats or all desserts or 1 dish and 2 desserts or any other combo) or 4 for 24€ or we could pay for the dishes à la carte but that was expensive (13€ for a dish and 9 for a dessert). The portion sizes differed a lot from 1 dish to the other. For example, while we had a good serving of the kebab, the mackerel seemed too little. However, since we were 3 people who all took different dishes and shared them later, we tasted 11 of them. It was a small place. The ambience was ok, nothing spécial. I liked that the kitchen was in the middle of the restaurant and you could see the chefs making the food. The presentation was great especially on the kebab and aubergines. A good place to go for a mini celebration if you're looking for a once in a while fancy food place on a...

Je me suis régalé !
