🇬🇧 A Whole Fish Carpaccio 🐟 Is the Ultimate Delight!
This Greek restaurant in Mayfair is just a three-minute walk from Green Park Station. For a restaurant of this caliber, it’s surprisingly easy to book. I even managed to secure a table for the same evening in the morning. The pride of the house is the 🐟 Sea Bream Carpaccio. The fish is incredibly fresh and served with three different sauces. The first one, a 🍋 lemon sauce, is quite neutral. The second one, which I can’t quite remember, is a bit too strong and overpowers the fish. But the third one, a 🚜 truffle sauce, hits the spot perfectly. The truffle aroma enhances the fish’s natural flavor without overshadowing it. Remember to shake the bottle before pouring, or you’ll only get olive oil 🫒. Lobster Salad 🥗 The salad dressing is very subtle, letting the ingredients speak for themselves. The lobster meat is cut into small chunks, and there’s no cheese added, so it’s not very creamy. The flavor is a bit one-dimensional. Seafood Orzo Pasta 🍜 The pasta shape is more like rice, topped with various small seafood pieces. Each grain is soaked in tomato sauce, making for a delicious dish! The drink menu is beautifully designed. I tried a smoked peach, pistachio, and cinnamon-flavored beverage. It’s delightful with a rich nutty flavor, but the price is quite steep, around £20, which could cover an appetizer! Excluding drinks, the average spend is around £60-70. Overall, it’s a great experience with no misses. The dining environment is very comfortable and worth a visit! 📍 Gaia Mayfair #LondonRestaurantHopping #LondonFood #LondonSashimi #Mayfair #LondonMayfair #LondonGreekCuisine #AmbianceRestaurant #Tonight’sDinner #LocalFoodRecommendation
