After being away from the UK for so long, and suffering through one too many "British meals", my stomach was literally screaming for mercy π«ππ€’ Found this Portuguese gem while exploring Battersea - totally worth the trek! No regrets! πΆββοΈπ¨β¨ Disclaimer though: Place gets crowded, probably hyped online π±π₯ I was STARVING and craving hot comfort food π²π Not worth a special trip if you live far away π«βοΈ Ordered their famous seafood rice stew π¦ππ Marked as "for two" but could easily feed four! (Though sharing the lobster might get tricky π) The aroma was HEAVENLY ππ Waitress even helpfully scooped some for my food pic πΈπ₯ Perfectly cooked rice - no hard bits, so comforting! π₯£β€οΈ Side dishes we tried: β‘οΈ Calamari (a bit oily, skippable) π¦π¦ β‘οΈ Fish cakes (Bolinhos de bacalhau) - solid choice! ππ₯ β‘οΈ Bacalhau cremoso (creamy cod) - delicious but heavy, pick either this OR the fish cakes unless you're a potato fiend like me π₯β€οΈ Their pastΓ©is de nata are the REAL Portuguese deal - way different from KFC's version back home π₯§π΅πΉ Super sweet and sticky (not my thing but might be yours!) π―π΅ But the STAR OF THE SHOW was definitely the seafood rice!
