🇬🇧 Birmingham Day Trip Under £30! 🎉

🚞 Transport: Coach from Manchester → Birmingham | £9.49 Drops off at: Birmingham Summer Row - Great Charles St. 🍔 Food: McDonald’s + Chongqing Noodles in Chinatown | £15 💷 Total: £24.49 ⏰ Time: 10:10 AM – 7:12 PM (7 hours) 📍 Stops: Zone 1: Birmingham Museum → Victoria Square → Birmingham Cathedral Zone 2: Peaky Blinders Wall → Library → Canal Side Zone 3: Chinatown → St. Martin's Church → Bullring → Peaky Blinders Bar 1️⃣ Started at Victoria Square. Dropped my bag at Birmingham Museum (£1 storage | 10AM-5PM). Spent 1 hour exploring the museum 🖼️. 2️⃣ Victoria Square and the Cathedral are quick photo stops — nice but not super special 📸. 3️⃣ Peaky Blinders Wall — one of the only two must-see spots in the city! No crowd when I went — in and out in 10 mins ✅. 4️⃣ The Library is architecturally cool 📚. Top floor has the Shakespeare Memorial Room — small but interesting. The canals are a highlight 🏴☠️ — Shelby family vibes! Personally think it’s the second must-visit spot. 5️⃣ The Peaky Blinders Bar (B4 7LS) is closed, but the mural outside remains 🍻. The bull at Bullring is way bigger than any other bull in the city 🐂😂. 6️⃣ Chinatown is worth a stroll. Ate at a noodle shop inside “China & Korea Supermarket” 🍜. The owner was lovely — £6 for a bowl of beef noodle soup. Added extra beef and peas for £4 — great portion and flavour! Sadly, they forgot the peas 😅… so remind them when you order! Before I left Manchester, a British friend was shocked I wanted to visit Birmingham. Now I get it — while it’s a practical city to live in, it’s not the most exciting for tourism 🥱. Attractions are spread out, not super impressive, and even souvenir shops are rare. But hey — you can easily enjoy a full day here under £30! #UKStudent #BudgetTravel #Birmingham #PeakyBlinders
