🇬🇧 Cambridge · Under Newton’s Apple Tree 🍎
Finally made it to long-awaited Cambridge! So relaxing to feel the breeze, soak up the sun, and go punting on the river. Envy Cambridge students a little~ 😌 Sharing my one-day Cambridge itinerary: 🪄 London King’s Cross → Cambridge Station (approx. 50 mins, £21 round trip) Don’t forget to snap a photo at Platform 9¾ at King’s Cross! 📸 🚌 Cambridge Station → King’s College Walk straight from the station for a few mins to Hills Road stop, take Bus 1 or 3 Get off at Christ‘s College stop King’s College is a short walk away You’ll find Xu Zhimo’s “Farewell to Cambridge” stone inside Ticket: £15 🍎 Trinity College The apple tree that inspired Newton is right at the entrance—no need to enter! Bring a red apple for a fun photo 🍎 🛶 River Cam Punting A must-do! 40-min boat ride along the Cam Pass by the Cambridge bridges, colleges, and sights like the Bridge of Sighs and Mathematical Bridge We booked our £15 ticket right outside Cambridge Station 🕰️ Corpus Clock Located diagonally across from King’s College The grasshopper clock “eats” time—its mouth opens at the start of each minute and closes at the end Also known as the “Time Eater” ⏳ 🍕 Aromi Pizza Perfect for lunch—just a street away from King’s College Some of the best and most affordable food we had in the UK! Around £8 per person, and we were stuffed 😋 Honestly, the entire Cambridge campus is a joy to explore—not just the spots I listed. Every corner is beautiful… wander around, take your time 💚 Can’t wait to come back in summer! #UKTravel #CambridgeDayTrip #CambridgeRoute #GentleWavesOfTheCam 🇬🇧✨
