🇬🇧 Day Trip from Leeds → Bradford Adventure!
Only 20 minutes away from Leeds by train — perfect for a spontaneous day out! Here’s what we explored in Bradford: 🕵️ Bradford Police Museum Open only on Fridays & Saturdays! Perfect if you love true crime and local history. ⛲ City Park Mirror Pool The iconic reflecting pool and fountain — amazing for photos when the sun's out! 📸 📚 Waterstones Bookstore Housed in the stunning Wool Exchange building. Feels like studying in a Gothic cathedral 😍 🎥 National Science and Media Museum A must-visit! Loved the Kodak camera exhibition and the fun interactive zones with sound and visual games. Great for kids and adults alike 🎮📽️ ⛪ Bradford Cathedral We decided to skip it this time — felt like we’ve seen a few already, but it looks beautiful from the outside! 🚆 TRAVEL TIP ALERT! ⚠️ We bought what we thought was an "Open Return" ticket… turns out it was an Off-Peak Return! Couldn’t board between 4:00–6:30 PM 😬 Ended up paying a bit extra at the counter to change our tickets. 👉 Always double-check your ticket type before you travel! A fun, easy, and culture-packed day just a short ride from Leeds 🏙️💂♂️ Highly recommend if you're into museums, books, and photogenic spots! #DayTrip #LeedsToBradford #UKStudentLife #StudyInUK #TravelTips #WestYorkshire #ExploreBradford #LeedsLife
