Finally tried the local specialty โ Scotch Eggs! ๐ฏ๐ด I visited The Butchershop last year for steak ๐ฅฉ, but found it mediocre, so I never returned. This time, I came back specifically to try their restaurant-made Scotch Egg (Iโd only had store-bought before!). ๐ณ Black Pudding Scotch Egg (ยฃ9) A creative twist! Instead of minced meat, the egg is wrapped in black pudding (British blood sausage) ๐ค๐ญ. Surprisingly delicious! The rich, savory pudding paired perfectly with the soft-boiled egg ๐ฅ๐ฅ. The accompanying sauce added depth, and the mashed potatoes were smooth and flavorful ๐ฅ๐. ๐ฐ Passion Fruit Cheesecake (ยฃ8) Silky, creamy, and perfectly balanced โ not too sweet, with a tangy passion fruit kick! ๐๐ ๐น Pomegranate Punch (ยฃ6) Unfortunately, a miss ๐ฌ. The top layer was bitter tonic water, while the bottom tasted like artificially sweet syrup.
