Finally tried the local specialty – Scotch Eggs! 🎯🍴 I visited The Butchershop last year for steak 🥩, but found it mediocre, so I never returned. This time, I came back specifically to try their restaurant-made Scotch Egg (I’d only had store-bought before!). 🍳 Black Pudding Scotch Egg (£9) A creative twist! Instead of minced meat, the egg is wrapped in black pudding (British blood sausage) 🖤🌭. Surprisingly delicious! The rich, savory pudding paired perfectly with the soft-boiled egg 🥚🔥. The accompanying sauce added depth, and the mashed potatoes were smooth and flavorful 🥔👌. 🍰 Passion Fruit Cheesecake (£8) Silky, creamy, and perfectly balanced – not too sweet, with a tangy passion fruit kick! 🍋💛 🍹 Pomegranate Punch (£6) Unfortunately, a miss 😬. The top layer was bitter tonic water, while the bottom tasted like artificially sweet syrup.
