🇬🇧 Hidden Gem in London|A Day Diving into the Cartoon World

As the UK enters its rainy season 🌧️☔, outdoor plans get shelved—so I went hunting for fun indoor spots in London! 🖼️✨ Stumbled upon a treasure of a museum: The Cartoon Museum! Just a 10-minute walk from Oxford Circus station. The entrance is small but packs a punch! 🚶‍♀️🎨🏛️🔍 Down the stairs to the ticket office, and even the walls are covered in cartoons! 🎭🖌️ Adult tickets are £9.50, students £4. The museum has two main sections: 1⃣️ Exhibition 🖼️🎪 – A single gallery packed with cartoons of different styles, techniques, and linework. I’m no expert, but spotting familiar characters was a delight! 🧐📜 Many artworks had captions—some sarcastic, some classic British humor, others just bursting with color that instantly lifts your mood! 🌈😆 Even when I didn’t fully "get" it, the vibe was pure joy. 2⃣️ Drawing Zone ✏️🎨 – Dedicated spaces for visitors (kids and adults!) to sketch or color. They provide paper, and you can even try pre-drawn coloring sheets! 🖍️👩‍🎨👨‍🎨 Before leaving, check out the gift shop at the ticket counter! 🛍️💖 Loads of merch from obscure (to me) but adorable IPs—pins from £2 to giant £35 mugs. ☕ Whether you’re a cartoon fan or not, this place is worth a 2-hour detour to soak in the whimsy and nostalgia. 🕰️🧒 #London
