πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ How to Spend One Day in Birmingham πŸŽπŸ›

I took a bus from Cardiff 🚌 to Birmingham β€” 2 hours 40 mins ⏱️ (Pro tip: Take the train instead if you can… the bus was so dizzying! πŸ₯Ή) First stop: the iconic Peaky Blinders mural wall πŸ§₯☠️ β€” super impressive and totally photo-worthy! πŸ“Έ In the afternoon, I took a taxi πŸš— from Birmingham New Street to the Black Country Living Museum in Dudley (30 mins ride). The Living Museum was SO MUCH FUN! I regret not coming earlier 😍. 🎟️ Ticket: Β£20 (and it’s valid for return within a year!) There are NPCs walking around and chatting with you β€” it really brings history to life! The whole place is like a giant, interactive toy model from childhood 🧸🏭. You can explore: Matchstick factory Coal mine Old canals Sweet shops 🍬 Pharmacy & grocery stores The vintage outfits and atmosphere totally pull you into old English life. And yes β€” it’s a Peaky Blinders filming location! You can see Charlie’s Yard and the canals from the show 🎬. Felt like I was part of the series 😎. Lastly β€” you MUST eat at The Malaya Classic in Birmingham! πŸ› Highly recommend: Kampung Fried Rice (blew my mind!) Curry Laksa Nasi Lemak So good I went back for dinner after having it for breakfast! πŸ˜‹ #UKStudent #CardiffUni #Birmingham #PhDlife #RelaxAndExplore πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§βœ¨
