🇬🇧 London|Summer's First Bite: Juicy Melon Meets Prosciutto 🍈
Even on weekdays, it's packed! After visiting the Richard Hunt exhibition, my friend and I headed to Flour and Grape for dinner. Doors open at 17:30, but we arrived at 17:00 to queue—and it was totally worth it! The place filled up instantly. Smart move on our part! 🍈 Sun Sweet Melon, Prosciutto Crudo, Mint A summer special that's absolutely divine! The melon is explosively sweet and juicy—bite into it, and the nectar drips down your chin. The mint adds a refreshing twist. Pure summer on a plate! 🦐 Sicilian Red Prawn Tartar, Lemon, Chive, Chilli Fresh prawns, but the flavors? A bit meh. Not bad, just... forgettable. 🌼 Artichoke Flower, Miso Vinaigrette Tangy, sweet, and light—the perfect palate cleanser! 🌾 Ravioli ~ Ricotta, Wild Garlic, Marjoram, Basil, Sage Butter Cheesy, buttery, and sinfully rich (of course it's delicious—it's pure fat!). Just a tad too salty. 🌾 Linguine ~ Tiger Prawn, Datterini Tomato, Chilli, Garlic, Basil Sweet, tangy tomato sauce with a kick of chilli—the prawns are plump, the pasta al dente. Winner! 🗺️ Flour & Grape 214 Bermondsey St, London SE1 3TQ, United Kingdom 🔥 Why It's a Must-Visit: ✔ Summer-perfect dishes (that melon!) ✔ Cozy, lively vibe—great for groups ✔ Pasta done right (even if some are salty) 📢 Pro Tip: Come early or book ahead—this place is no secret anymore! 🍈 Melon + prosciutto = summer love! 🍝 Pasta that hits the spot! 🦐 Prawn tartar = could do better. 🌿 Artichoke = underrated star! 🧈 Buttery ravioli = cheat day approved! 📸 Instagram-worthy plates! #LondonFoodGuide #LondonRestaurants #LondonEats #VibeyLondonSpots #HiddenGemsLondon #LondonPasta #SummerOnAPlate #LondonFoodRecs
