๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง London | Hidden Gem with a Michelin Star ๐ŸŒŸ

When I connected to the Wi-Fi, I saw The Ninth's story and learned that this restaurant has been around for 10 years and has held a Michelin star since 2017! It was a friend's recommendation that brought me here, and I'm glad I came. If you visit on a weekday at lunchtime, they offer a two-course meal for ยฃ35, which is quite affordable. Overall, there weren't any dishes that blew me away, but everything tasted good. ๐Ÿฆ€ **Crab & Seaweed Tartlet** โ€“ This one was quite salty, not really recommended. The saltiness overshadowed the natural sweetness of the ingredients. ๐Ÿ˜• ๐ŸŸ **Seabream Carpaccio, Merinda Tomatoes & Red Meat Radish** โ€“ A sweet and tangy combination. It wasn't particularly distinctive, but I enjoyed it. ๐Ÿ“ ๐ŸŒŠ **Cured Scallops, Smoked Roe & Jerusalem Artichoke** โ€“ Usually, I have Jerusalem artichokes that are roasted and soft, but this time they were raw. The flavors of the scallops and artichokes were distinct, yet it was still delicious. ๐Ÿฆช ๐Ÿ‚ **Salted Beef Cheek & Tongue, White Asparagus, Tarragon Mayonnaise & Wild Garlic** โ€“ The beef cheek and tongue were perfectly cooked, and the baguette was soaked in tarragon mayonnaise. The thin slice of wild garlic was juicy and added a fresh aroma. I loved this dish! ๐Ÿฅฉ ๐ŸŸ **Red Mullet Tempura, Citrus Escabeche & Garlic Aioli** โ€“ I didn't expect a whole fried fish! The citrus sauce and pickles helped cut through the richness, but it was still a bit too greasy for my taste. ๐ŸŸ ๐Ÿจ **Pain Perdu & Tonka Bean Ice Cream** โ€“ This is their most famous dish, and it's worth it! The brioche is soaked in milk and cream, with a caramelized crust on the outside. The tonka bean ice cream adds a sophisticated aroma. This dessert was my favorite of the day! ๐Ÿฐ ๐Ÿน **Apple, Cucumber, Lemon, Elderflower** โ€“ The combination of elderflower and apple is perfect! If you're wondering why I didn't just buy elderflower juice from the supermarket, it's because the cucumber and lemon add an extra layer of freshness. I loved it! ๐Ÿƒ ๐Ÿ—บ๏ธ **The Ninth** 22 Charlotte St., London W1T 2NB, United Kingdom #LondonFoodGuide #MichelinStarredRestaurant #LondonRestaurantRecommendations
