š¬š§ London Brunch | For a Traditional British Breakfast
This place truly embodies the essence of British brunch, haha, especially their English breakfast which is a hit among locals and expats alike. The cafe isn't huge, but the staff's service is top-notch. š : Savoy Cafe & Kitchen š: 11 Great Eastern St, London EC2A 3EJ š„ Pancake: These pancakes are thick and fluffy, paired with fruit and jam. They nailed the sweetness level for me ā not too sweet, just right, haha! š„ English Breakfast: Ham, bacon, and my favorite ā the hash brown, plus some sweet fried tomatoes. Surprisingly, the soy sauce wasn't as bad as rumored; it actually tasted quite good. š® Omelette: Cheese omelette with bacon, fries, and salad. Let me tell you, this dish was amazing. I ordered it with cheese and bacon, stuffing chunks into my mouth. It does get a bit salty as it cools down, so eat it while it's hot! Two of us ordered three plates and three drinks (a bit excessive), totaling over Ā£40. We had leftovers, but that's just because we overordered. Normally, Ā£15+ per person would suffice. At first, I thought it might be a dud, but boy was I wrong. The experience was great, and it turned out to be a delicious day! #BrunchTime #BritishBreakfast #Pancakes #StudyInUK #LondonEats #GourmetDaily #WeekendBrunch
