🇬🇧 London Foodie Finds | Hidden Spanish Gems: The Best Paella
London's Spanish food scene is incredibly diverse, ranging from Basque-style taverns to traditional tapas bars. But when it comes to Spanish seafood rice (Paella), this place truly stands out as the best of the best. 🌟 This restaurant offers a wide variety of paella dishes, not just limited to seafood, all cooked over charcoal to retain that authentic, smoky flavor. Here are a few must-try options: 🌟 Iberian Pork Rib Rice Made with Iberian pork ribs, this dish is rich and flavorful without being greasy. The pork is first charcoal-grilled, and the combination with artichokes is something I haven't seen elsewhere. 🐖 🌟 Paella Valenciana Valencia is the birthplace of paella. Unlike the seafood version we're familiar with, this one features chicken, rabbit, and broad beans. If you haven't tried it, I highly recommend giving the most authentic Valencian paella a go. 🐔 🌟 Mediterranean Rice With wild red prawns, squid, and sea bream, this dish is closer to the traditional seafood paella we imagine. It's also my personal favorite! The prawns are bursting with flavor, the squid is chewy, and the sea bream is tender. If I could only choose one paella, this would be it! 🦐 Their appetizers and desserts are also quite unique, and there are a few I think you should definitely try: 🌟 Cheese Stones When they were served, I thought they were two stones 😂 placed on a stone slab. The chef explained that they're made of cheese and have a hint of truffle. It's a very interesting dish worth trying. 🧀 🌟 Grilled Banana Cloud A thick layer of yogurt foam covers frozen bananas, making for a refreshing and guilt-free dessert. To add some texture, they also include large hazelnuts coated in caramel. I think it pairs perfectly with another dessert called the Giant Cookie! 🍌 My friend and I both agree that this place is top-notch in London for Spanish cuisine, in terms of taste, service, and ambiance. It's definitely worth a visit! 🌟 Their house white wine is also very enjoyable. 💰 Average spend: £80-100 per person #GlobalFoodieContest #LondonRestaurantHopping #UKFood #LondonLife #LondonSpanishCuisine #EuroAsianBay #StreetFoodAdventures
