🇬🇧 Manchester Turkish Brunch Spot: Bruncho

I’ve been to Bruncho in Manchester three times now and have tried most of their specials. The place has been open for over half a year and consistently holds a 4.9 rating on Google Maps. Today, I’m here to give you a comprehensive review. 1️⃣ **Bruncho Beef Benedict** £13.9 Why isn’t this dish more popular? If you’re tired of regular benedicts, you’ve got to try this one. It’s so tender and juicy, with flavors reminiscent of braised beef, which pairs perfectly with the runny egg. The addition of pomegranate, a Turkish favorite, cuts through the richness of the beef. The person who invented this dish is a genius! 2️⃣ **Steak & Eggs** 🍳 £19.9 I personally think it’s not as good as Federal’s. The quality can be a bit inconsistent. Even though mine was ordered medium-rare, it was still a bit dry. The hash browns were greasy and soft, but surprisingly, the sourdough was the best part.😢 Overall, I was a bit disappointed. 3️⃣ **Pistachio Kinder French Toast** 🥪 £14.9 The toast is soft and fluffy, with mango popping pearls as the finishing touch. Dipping it in ice cream is a must—it’s the perfect level of sweetness. 4️⃣ **Shakshuka** £14.9 It feels like eating tomato and scrambled eggs, but the dipping sauce with chili and honey is quite unique. It goes great with bread. Both this and menemen (Turkish-style eggs) are top choices for a Turkish breakfast, especially if you love tomatoes. 5️⃣ **Beverages:** Turkish tea or various flavors of matcha are both good options. Overall, I feel like the chef can be a bit lackadaisical on weekdays, and the dishes aren’t always up to par. The upside is that there’s no wait. I recommend coming on weekends, but be sure to make a reservation. #Brunch #EatingOut #ManchesterLife #ManchesterFood #ManchesterEats #RestaurantRecommendations #BeautifulFood
