🇬🇧 Newcastle Day Trip: Sun, Sea & Noodles! ☀️🍜🌊
The weather’s been gorgeous lately—so obviously, I had to hit the coast! 🚄 Leeds → Newcastle (just 1.5 hrs by train). 🍜 LUNCH: Master Wang Noodle ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Biáng biáng noodles (wide "belt" noodles, hand-pulled!)—the MOST authentic I’ve had in the UK! 🥹 Toppings: Tomato-egg + minced pork (saucy & flavorful). Extra braised pork intestine (huge portion, no weird smell!). Jasmine & oolong tea: light natural sweetness, no sugar added. 💰 ~£15pp 🍽️ DINNER: Thai House Cafe ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pork leg stew rice )—tender, fatty, so rich in flavor (beats Leeds’ versions!). Also tried: Pad Kra Pao, tom yum soup, Thai iced tea (no powdery aftertaste, perfect sweetness!). 💰 ~£20pp 🌊 Tynemouth Long Sands Beach ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🚖 20-min taxi from the city—totally worth it! Water was chilly but refreshing (even at 20°C). Insanely photogenic—golden sand, tiny boats, and that golden-hour glow! 📸 Walked along the coast: flower-adorned benches (so romantic!), a smaller beach with castle views (closed but pretty!). Nearby fun: Mini-golf, cricket, aquarium, markets—great for a longer trip! Final Verdict: A perfect sunny day—good food, ocean vibes, and zero regrets! 👏 #Newcastle #Tynemouth #UKTravel #StudyAbroad #FoodieAdventures #BeachDay
