🇬🇧 Newcastle Food Guide | My 6 Never-Get-Bored Restaurants 🍽️😋

Having lived in Newcastle for 5 years ✨, this city has become my second home 🏡💗. Here are my all-time favorite eateries—ranked in no particular order because I love them all equally! 1️⃣ Tonkin 🇻🇳 The BEST Vietnamese food in town! 🔥 Must-order: Fried spring rolls (trust me, just get them!). ⚠️ Heads up: Service is slow—don’t come if you’re in a rush! 2️⃣ Master Wang 🍜 My go-to lunch spot after class! 🏫 Their hand-pulled noodles are UNMATCHED (sorry, other "Xi’an" noodle spots in Grainger Market 😅). Braised pork intestine + homemade chili oil = chef’s kiss 👌. 💔 I’ll miss this so much when I move back home! 3️⃣ Liosi 🇮🇹 Cozy, affordable, and DELICIOUS Italian! Pizza 🍕 & gnocchi = perfection. Closes early (7PM), so best for lunch dates! 💖 4️⃣ Jasmine 🇭🇰 My pineapple bun & egg tart addiction starts here! I (try to) limit myself to one pineapple bun per week… so hard. HK-style milk tea = elite. 😤 Downside: Tiny space—they’ll hurry you out after eating. 5️⃣ Amaysia Spicy lovers, this one’s for you! 🌶️ Obsessed with their mala xiangguo (spicy stir-fry pot). Bonus: Karaoke downstairs (free if you spend £120+!). 6️⃣ Chilli Padi 🇲🇾 I worked here for 2 years—so I KNOW it’s good! 👩🍳 Char kway teow & salted veg fish noodle soup = 🔥. Other recs: Pattaya fried rice, spicy chicken hotpot. 💯 Zero bad dishes—just flavors that slap! Final Thoughts: Newcastle’s food scene hits different—especially for homesick Chinese tastebuds 😭❤️. #NewcastleEats #UKFoodie #ChineseFoodAbroad #NewcastleLife #StudyAbroadEats
