šŸ‡¬šŸ‡§ Oblix at The Shard | London’s Romantic Date Night

For our anniversary, we found ourselves back at The Shard, London’s tallest building, which houses two restaurants—one Western and one Chinese. This time, we decided to try out Oblix, the Western restaurant. Dining at the top of The Shard for a special occasion is incredibly romantic. You get to overlook the entire city of London while you eat. šŸŒ† The restaurant did not disappoint. The ambiance was perfect, and they even added a few personal touches based on our requests. Some people were celebrating birthdays, while others, like us, were marking anniversaries. The presentation of the dishes was also quite impressive. šŸ„‚ The food was excellent. The highlight was the drink served in a box shaped like The Shard, called "Born a Star." When the waiter brought it out, it was surrounded by smoke—it looked amazing! 😻 The drink itself was sweet and tangy, very refreshing. For starters, we had the Truffle Flatbread, Beef Tartare (raw beef with chips), and a cheese ball appetizer similar to Spanish cheese balls. The Beef Tartare was particularly stunning. šŸ½ļø For the main course, we ordered the Black Cod (a type of smoked cod) which had a Cantonese-style flavor, served on a wooden board—it was very aromatic. We also had the Tomahawk steak, which was incredibly filling and delicious. We tried a mushroom dish on the right side of the P3 menu, but it was just average, with a mushroom pasta-like texture. For dessert, we had a choux pastry tower and a chocolate cake. They looked beautiful but were quite sweet—I thought they were just okay. šŸ˜‚ šŸ  Name: Oblix šŸ’° Average cost: Around Ā£140 per person If you plan to visit, make sure to book in advance on Google. Request a window seat for the best views! There’s no dress code, so you can dress a bit more casually. šŸ˜‰ #LondonFood #UKFood #Foodie #LondonEats #LondonDates #LondonWesternCuisine #TheShard #HighRiseRestaurant #LondonMichelin #AmbientRestaurant #RomanticRestaurant #FancyDinner
