🇬🇧 Stop 2: Fort William!

he moment we arrived in Fort William, the scenery left us speechless! ☀️ This quaint Highland town looked absolutely magical under the sunshine. Our Airbnb host was the sweetest, and our room—flooded with golden light and smelling faintly of fresh laundry—felt like instant home. After a quick recharge, we hit the streets! We stumbled upon: 🐧 A tax protest with giant penguin mascots (only in the UK!) 🛍️ A Jellycat wonderland (that Westie plush had me torn!) 🌊 A dreamy lakeside walk back to the bus station—so sunny, we joked: "Wait... is this actually Australia?!" McDonald's pit stop 🍔→ Then off to Ballachulish for mountain views and... more burgers (priorities!). Planned to catch the 5:40 PM bus to Glenfinnan, but— 🚨 Plot twist! Google Maps revealed our only return bus was CANCELLED 😱 (It existed when we planned this!). *Thank goodness we checked—wilderness survival skills = 0.* Plan B: Cozy night in! 🍽️ Tried to dine out but epic queues said no. 🛍️ The Jellycat shop had closed... but fate delivered! Found an equally adorable Westie at a gift store (which also shut right after we left—meant to be!).
