🇬🇧 What’s Worth Seeing in Birmingham, UK?

✨ Birmingham City Walk — 20,000 Steps to 8 Iconic Landmarks in One Go! This walking route is smooth and efficient 🚶: New Street Station → Peaky Blinders Mural → Victoria Square → Museum & Art Gallery → Library → Jewellery Quarter → Canals → St. Martin’s Church → Bullring Shopping Centre → Back to Station 1️⃣ Peaky Blinders Mural / Grosvenor Casino (B2 4PA) Just 5 mins from the station! 📸 Perfect spot for Shelby family-style photos — black suit + cap silhouettes look epic. (I was in a rush and missed it, but for a casual shot 😉) 2️⃣ Victoria Square (B1 1BD) Impressive fountain + Roman-style architecture 🏛️. Feed pigeons at the feet of the Queen’s statue for a classic British shot 🕊️. 3️⃣ Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery (B3 3DH) Free entry! 🎨 Must-see: Pre-Raphaelite masterpieces + the “Birmingham Stories” exhibition on the top floor. Industrial Revolution gears and steam engines are super cool 🔥. 4️⃣ Library of Birmingham (B1 2EA) A mix of futuristic sky gardens and classic circular reading rooms 📚. The top-floor terrace offers a stunning 180° city view 🌆. The sofas are so comfy — I lazed there for an hour and didn’t want to leave 😴. 5️⃣ Jewellery Quarter (B18 6LT) 40% of the world’s jewelry comes from here! 💎 Over 200 workshops glitter non-stop. Even the surrounding architecture is gorgeous — I didn’t want to leave! 6️⃣ Canals / Brindleyplace (B1 1RS) Birmingham’s Venice! 🚤 A canal boat ride (£8) is totally worth it. Red-brick warehouses turned into chic cafes line the water — perfect at sunset 🌇. 7️⃣ St. Martin’s Church (B5 5BB) An 11th-century church right next to the modern Bullring shopping mall — a stunning clash of old and new! ⛪ (Note: No photos during Sunday services.) 8️⃣ Bullring Shopping Centre (B5 4BU) Don’t miss the iconic silver bull! 🐂 Shop at Selfridges, popular brands, M&S, Boots, and Superdrug — great for souvenirs 🛍️. 💡 Tips: The full walk takes about 3 hours. Wear comfortable shoes, bring an umbrella, and a windproof jacket! ☔👟 #BirminghamDayTrip #UKTravelGuide #LifeInBirmingham #BirminghamTravel
