🇬🇧 What to Do in Birmingham Besides Eating at Haidilao?
Birmingham is perfect for a city walk — especially on a sunny day! ☀️ You’ll stumble upon so many interesting spots just by wandering around. The street art here is full of character, with every wall telling its own story. You won’t be able to stop taking photos! 📸 I originally came to Birmingham just for the Haidilao hot pot buffet 🍲, but since I was here, I figured I should explore a bit too. I ended up visiting some cool spots, and it turned out to be a really fun day! 📍 1️⃣ Haidilao Hot Pot Started with the lunch buffet on a weekday — less crowded and just as delicious! The broths, ingredients, and sauce bar were all on point. After that feast, it was time to walk it off! 🚶♀️ 📍 2️⃣ Red Brick Market This quirky vintage market is packed with unique little shops 🛍️. You can find everything from retro clothes to handmade accessories — each piece full of character. It’s super close to Haidilao, making it a perfect post-meal stop! 📍 3️⃣ Peaky Blinders Mural As the iconic series set in Birmingham, Peaky Blinders is a big part of the city’s culture 🧥☁️. This mural is seriously atmospheric. Pro tip: wear black and sunglasses for photos to channel that Shelby vibe! 😎 📍 4️⃣ Victoria Square One of Birmingham’s landmark squares ⛲️, with a beautiful fountain and classic British architecture all around. It’s a great place to relax when the weather’s nice and snap some photos! 📍 5️⃣ Molly Tea A newly opened bubble tea shop — as a jasmine milk tea lover, I had to try it! 🍵 The balance between tea and milk was just right. Definitely lived up to the hype! All in all, what started as a “just here for the food” trip turned into a lovely day of exploring. Birmingham’s street art, markets, and cultural spots are totally worth the visit! #UKStudent #Birmingham #UKTravel #Haidilao #DayTripGuide 🇬🇧✨
