🌟This was once the Macedonian stronghold, Constantinople's first line of defense in Europe, and now serves as a Byzantine remnant gazing east toward the Golden Horn. ⭐️ Tips: Airport bus fare: €2 (buy at self-service machines at the bus stop). 💧Most city bus stops lack ticket machines—some buses have onboard machines, but not all. Keep your airport ticket for top-ups. 🔷Greek restaurants rarely charge service fees or expect tips. Water is often free (some even offer bread and ice cream!). Order wisely—portions are huge (I couldn’t finish two meals in a row, haha). 💐Intercity KTEL buses depart from a station outside town (~30 mins by bus from the coast). Online tickets must be exchanged at the counter.
