🇭🇷 Dubrovnik Food Guide
⚠️ Local Insight: 💢A taxi driver told us Croatians mostly eat Italian food—and it shows! Menus are full of pasta, pizza, and seafood, but quality varies wildly. We averaged €35-40/meal, often for mediocre experiences. 💣 Worst Meal: Bokar Dubrovnik ❌Oysters: Tiny, overly fishy, sandy, and hard to shuck.Shrimp Tacos: Frozen-food quality.Squid Ink Risotto: Greasy and bland.Slow service, indifferent staff. Avoid at all costs! 🍤 Decent Option: Barba Fried seafood platter: Huge (shareable!), but heavy.Tip: Order, then explore the Old Town while waiting (it’s crowded!).🥪 Surprise Hit: Sandwich Shop Next to Barba. Fluffy bread, generous fillings—so good we devoured it on the spot!Staff are super friendly. 🥢 Passable Chinese: Asia Restaurant. Noodles: All taste similar, but a relief after "white people food." 🌟 MVP: Bonto Korean Restaurant 🌟Beef udon: Packed with meat, flavorful broth.Bibimbap: Sizzling hot, perfect crust.Korean fried chicken: Crispy + spicy-sweet. 🌈Staff are hilariously gruff but warm (Korean speakers get bonus banter!).💯 The meal that saved our trip! #DubrovnikEats #CroatiaTravel #KoreanFood
