We finally visited the legendary Lillafüred—and it was absolutely breathtaking! 😍 🍁 Autumn here is MAGICAL—the leaves painted in fiery reds, golden yellows, and deep oranges! 🏞️ The emerald-green lakes reminded us of China’s Jiuzhaigou Valley—especially when the sunlight danced on the water. Soul-healing beauty! ✨ 🏰 Spotted a storybook castle (not sure if visitors can enter, but it’s dreamy!). 🌿 Hiking highlights: Tiny waterfalls, babbling streams, and forest trails perfect for wandering! 🚂 Forest train alert! (We rode the cozy one, but spring/summer offers open-window cars—must return for that!) 🐱 Bonus joy: Met the sweetest, cuddliest cat—we petted it for ages, then refueled with hot dogs and coffee. ☕🌭 🚣 Mystery of the day: The rowboats (traditional paddle-yourself style!) were oddly quiet—next time, we’ll try on a sunnier afternoon!
