🇭🇺 Who Says Miskolc is No Good? This "Rice Village" is Awesome! 😆

🇭🇺 Miskolc Immigration Office Today, I went to the immigration office to pick up my residence card! 🎉 The office is near Buza tér station (just search Immigration Office in Miskolc). We had an appointment, but the staff said it wasn’t even necessary—just bring your passport, and they’ll hand you the card! (The lady was super chill about it lol 😂) 🇭🇺 Hungarian Market Adventures 🛒 🌽 Near Buza tér, there’s a local market selling fresh veggies, fruits, meat, and eggs! The best meat is usually gone by noon, but sometimes you can even find fresh chicken feet! 🐔 This time, we bought some oranges 🍊 (sweet like Chinese tangerines!) and plums (a bit too soft, maybe out of season 🥺). ❗ Heads up: 🧩 Most vendors only speak Hungarian, but some know a bit of English. If all else fails, point, gesture, and use the calculator for prices! 🔢 🧩 Cash is king! 💰 Have some HUF (Hungarian Forints) ready. 🧩 No picking allowed! For fruits like oranges 🍊 or cherries 🍒, you tell them how much you want, and they’ll bag it for you. 🫓 Langos = Hungarian "Fried Dough Heaven" There’s a langos stall in the market (we jokingly call it "Làn Gǒu Shǐ" in Chinese 😆).
