🇮🇹 | 𝒱𝑒𝓃𝑒𝓏𝒾𝒶 ~ Romance Gliding on Water 🛶

Finally set foot in the watery city from my elementary school textbooks 🏛️💧 Stepping out of the train station and seeing this city floating above a submerged forest felt truly surreal 🌊🏙️ People have mixed opinions about Venice, but I have zero regrets coming — it’s just too special. It’s romantic 💖 I still remember our gondolier telling us: “When the boat passes under a bridge, if a couple kisses, they’ll be blessed with eternal happiness.” Sure, gondolas are tourist traps 🎯💸, but that lore? So charming 😄🥰 It’s also laid-back and full of joy 😌🎶 Life moves slowly here. Many sit by the docks gazing across the canals — looks like they could sit there all afternoon 🪑☀️ One memory stands out: our first meal in Venice. The owner was a music lover 🎸, singing and playing guitar in his restaurant. Soon, everyone was clapping, singing along, even dancing 💃🕺 The vibe was so chill and happy — it felt like people here live without a worry 🥹 The food was amazing too — lobster pasta highly recommended! 🍝🦞 (Check last slide!) We booked two waterfront restaurants: ❌ Gio's Restaurant Venice – A big no! We spent almost €300 for two. Tiny portions (like Michelin… without the taste), barely any dishes under €50. The chef tries to be creative… but the oyster risotto tasted like drinking seawater 🌊😖 ✅ Venice M'Art – Highly recommend!
