🇮🇹 3 Days & Nights in Florence - A Love Letter ✨

First things first: I'M IN LOVE WITH FLORENCE! ❤️ When planning our trip, we thought "Florence is small" and scheduled 3 nights as a "break" before chaotic Rome. Best. Decision. Ever. These became the most soul-nourishing days of our entire European adventure - where both our bodies AND spirits finally relaxed. Why Florence wins: • 🛍️ Endless charming shops (without Parisian price tags) • 🍝 Food that outshines Switzerland (sorry not sorry) • 🏛️ More beauty per square meter than Milan • 🍦 Life-changing gelato (daily lemon+cranberry combo FTW!) Unexpected highlight: That random pizzeria near the Leaning Tower of Pisa served THE BEST Neapolitan pizza of our trip! And oh - catching our first glimpse of the Mediterranean nearby? Chef's kiss. 🌊 Our hotel was a dream - central location with Duomo views, surrounded by amazing eateries. The staff left daily cookies 🍪, 24/7 mint lemon water 🍋, and even farewell cards. This is how hospitality should be! The Duomo isn't just a church - it's a masterpiece that outshines every other cathedral we've seen. Its pink-green-white marble facade GLOWS at night (no spotlights needed!) - we thought it was illuminated until we walked by at midnight. But the real magic happened at Piazzale Michelangelo at sunset 🌇: Sitting on warm steps with global strangers A lone guitarist playing the perfect soundtrack Watching golden light pour through bridge arches The Duomo glowing like a jewel in the dying light All travel fatigue melted away in that moment. As our train pulls into the next station (and I wipe happy tears), I already know - we'll be back, Firenze. This isn't goodbye, it's "see you later." #FlorenceForever #GoldenHourMagic #GelatoAddict #TravelFeels #SunsetChaser #BestOfItaly #SlowTravelWin #HappyTears
